Parent volunteers are the key to the success of our team. A summer swim team requires a large number of volunteers to run smoothly. It takes a minimum of 42 deck officials to run a meet, and many more to run and support the social activities and fundraising activities. The “Diane Bisbee Volunteer of the Year” award is voted on by the parents and awarded at the team banquet. Volunteering can be fun and rewarding — talk to our Volunteer Coordinator to see how you can help.
The Swim Team Volunteer Coordinator for 2016 is Shannon Freeman. Her job is to assure that all volunteer slots are filled for each meet. This is a critical position and a big job (we’ve had two people serve in this position in the past), so contact the Hiddenbrook Swim Team President if you’re interested in helping out Shannon and the swim team.
